The CNR-IMAA hosts the SAMU – Service Access Management Unit, an Head Office unit of ACTRIS-ERIC, dedicated to managing the process of physical and remote access to the IR. Access is governed by the ACTRIS access policy and is implemented through the ACTRIS Access Management Plan. SAMU implements and updates the Service Catalog of the entire IR, it is the only access point to ACTRIS for the different types of national, European and international users, it monitors the provision of services by detecting their availability and performance. Users access the services by consulting the Catalog and making a request to SAMU via the appropriate platform for the centralized management of the entire process.
